Shady Oaks is situated on 17-1/2 acres of beautifully landscaped Live Oaks, palms, 2 ponds, and wildlife. 1/4 mile across the road is Cove Harbor boat ramp and the Intracoastal canal, where you have free boat docking, bait shop, and 2 restaurants.

Over 160 sites with full hook-up amenities are offered. Enjoy our Recreation Hall. It's perfect for entertaining guests or planning a family get-together. The adjacent lounge is comfortably furnished and well air-conditioned. For those who like to stay in shape, the exercise area is very nice. Access to a computer & FREE Wi-Fi Internet is available.

Another amenity that Shady Oaks offers is the cool and refreshing pool area. The outdoor pool is heated in Winter. We provide a nice family atmosphere and those traveling with pets are always welcome! We are located at 1301 Smokehouse Rd., 3 miles south of Rockport off business 35, on the west side of the road.

There is free boat launch across the road at Cove Harbor.  Hwy. 188 is 2 1/4 miles south of us.

Our property also has a back entrance off Balderee  Ln. located at the south end of our property.
